This sounds like so many different bands it's hard to say who it might be. A slightly lackluster Jimmy Eat World with a dodgy Irish style singalong in the middle.
I own several albums that this song could have come off, it wouldn't be the strongest song on any of them but it might not be the worst either.
The 6/8 rythem at the beginning as a bit annoying, but I like the drumming in the middle part. Reminds me of an early XTC song. No a very shamefull song, no big track either
Sludgy and mawkish 2nd division emo. It's not as monstrously offensive as some on this compilation, but you'd need to pretty desperate to choose to listen to this. I suppose it might be of some interest if you're a 13-year-old girl dreaming of heroically angsty boys.
A heroic attempt to compensate for the lack of an actual song with big, crunchy production. Where our standard for "heroic" is the charge of the Light Brigade.

mm. Could be the Juliana Theory, or Finch, or something. Bit all over the place, this one.
